He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Heitkamp and Rose Heitkamp (Fullenkamp); and his wife Nancy L. Quellhorst. He is survived by: his children, Susan (James Christman) and Erik Heitkamp (New Bremen); his grandchildren, Courtney, Chris Lovett, Van Wert, Caleigh and Jacob Slife; his great grandchildren, Navy, Archie and Brentley; his siblings, Gilbert, Marilyn Heitkamp and Rosemary Lehman; and also, Celesta, Harold Staugler, Ernest, Ken Heitkamp, Mary Louise Sudhoff, Annette, Russ Haley, Eugene Lehman, Linda and Francis.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home (61 S Hanover St, Minster, OH 45865). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church (120 S Eastmoor Dr, New Bremen, OH 45869). A burial will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at the German Protestant Cemetery.
