He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Chesser and Renevie Ellen Chesser (French); his sons, Timothy Chesser and James Chesser; and his siblings, Gene, David, Ernest, Carson, Barb and Marabel.

He is survived by: his daughter Becky Yaeger of Marion; and his brothers, Merle Chesser of Marion and Floyd Chesser of Cardington.
