He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil R. Kassner and Gladys E. Norden Kassner; his brother Arthur E. Kassner; his sisters-in-law, Josephine Kassner (Arthur E.) and Delores Kassner (Robert E.); and his parents-in-law, George J. Stick and Ruth M. Stick.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Marie Stick Kassner; his siblings, Richard N. Kassner (Ruth) of Phoenix, Robert E. Kassner of Douglas, Elaine Bierly (Don) of Mt. Dora and Elly (Jerry) of Littlestown; his children, Elizabeth Martindale (Jonathan) of Sunbury, Karen Rosenthal (David) of Oswego, Jon Kassner, Jr. of Westerville and Jeffrey Kassner of Columbus; his grandchildren, Tiffany Sherman (Kilburn), Anthony DelGreco, Jacob DelGreco, Jessica DelGreco, Nicholas DelGreco, Maxximilian Martindale, David Rosenthal, Kaitlin Rosenthal and Abigail Rosenthal; and his great grandchildren, Kaeden Sherman, Tess Sherman, Nathan, Tyler, Presley, Sydney, Spencer, Julian, Evan, Priscilla, Dakota, Bellamy, Markus, Jolene and Tracy.
