She was predeceased by: her spouses, Dr. Harold D. Jacobs, Jr. and V. M.; her siblings, Grace Calovini, Elizabeth Lee, Leona Furste, Lillian Logan, Felix James, Dr. Arthur G. James and Vincent James; and her parents, Abramo Giangiacomo-James and Rosina Giangiacomo-James.

She is survived by: her children, Pamela Dee Jacobs, Donna Lee Jacobs Beck (Dale) and H. Daniel Jacobs III (Morine); her grandchildren, Jeffrey Beck (Denise), Julie Beck Coyle (Todd), Theresa Petrtyl Knapp (Jamie), Brian Petrtyl, Stephanie Jacobs Sheehan (Chris) and Allison Jacobs Smith (Jared); and her great grandchildren, Andrew Beck, Morgan Beck, Jacob Beck, Caden Coyle, Clara Coyle, Colin, Lathan Sheehan and Jonah Smith.

“I am so sorry to hear of the passing of our dearest Clara. She was the glue that held everyone together and I adored her for it. She always gave me news of all the family in Ohio and even remembered my boys names. With all the multitude of names she had to remember, that was an impressive feat! She will be forever missed but I am so happy that she has been reunited with her husband and family. Much love from Wyoming, Heather James Mattinson (Felix's granddaughter)”
