He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Ward and Pauline Fern Zimmerman (Bachtell); his former wife Joan P. Hogan; his wife Martha Gerber (Pagnard); and his sister Ruth Bertolino (Zimmerman).
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Zimmerman (Mariann) of Bucyrus, OH and Jeff Zimmerman (Susan) of Newland, N. C.; his stepchildren, Phil Gerber (Sandy), Dee Baldwin (Sterling) and Sharon Irwin (Alan); his grandchildren, Macy Zimmerman, Megan Zimmerman, Sam Zimmerman and Aaron Emberson (Sarah); and his great grandchild Atlas Emberson.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home (476 S Sandusky Ave, Upper Sandusky, OH 43351).
