He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Hurst and Lacy Hurst (McFarland); his spouse Carlon Stone; and his sisters, Gloral Madden and Ven Gay Hurst.
He is survived by: his children, Tony Stapleton (Kim) of Blanchester, Patricia Stone of Bucyrus, Lynda Cole (Doug) of Bucyrus, Mike Hurst of Nevada, Ginny Cole (Tom) of Nevada, Tim Hurst (Annette) of Bucyrus, Becky Smith of Marion, Missy King (Shawn Green) of Bucyrus, Rodney Hurst of Nevada, Tina Hurst (Justin) of Delaware, Randy Hurst of Nevada and Lacey Massey (John) of Nevada. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.
