He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil M. Heinlen and Evelyn M. Heinlen (Keltner); his wife Carolyn J. Kotterman; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Daiber and Sandy Kotterman.
He is survived by: his sons, Frank L. Heinlen (Jodi Perkins) of Nevada and Steve A. Heinlen (Julie) of Nevada; his grandchildren, Megan Miller (Ryan), Rachel Welch (Cory), Brad Heinlen (Cara) and Nate (Amber); his great grandchildren, Hayleigh Welch, Blaine Welch, Kaison Miller, Abby Heinlen, Anthony Heinlen, Aiden Heinlen and Harper Heinlen; his brother-in-law Paul Kotterman; and his nieces and nephews, Deb Kellogg, Amy Kotterman, Chuck Daiber, Jerry Daiber and Andy Kotterman.
