With profound sadness, we say goodbye to JoAnn Sand of Nevada, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. JoAnn left this world on February 8, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Wood and Lottie Wood (Halstead); her husband Larry "Buck" Sand; her son John Sullivan; and her brother Jack Wood.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Sullivan of Sycamore, Laura Bucher (Gilbert) of Nevada, Brian Sand (Anna Phillips) of Bucyrus and Brenda Sand of Nevada; her grandchildren, Ashlee, Josh, Zach, Nichole, Ricky, Johnny, Jaid, Kymber and Logen; and her daughter-in-law Judy Sullivan of Nevada. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home (476 S Sandusky Ave, Upper Sandusky, OH 43351). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
