He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry "Hart" Goodwin and Margaret Goodwin; his daughter Laura; and his brother Richard Goodwin (Becky) of Troy. He is survived by: his wife Paula Haney of Stillwater, Ohio.; his children, Mark Goodwin (Rene) of Delaware, OH and Nancy Goodwin; and his sisters, Carol Johnson (Owen) of Texas and Peggy Goodwin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made Nationwide Children's Hospital or church or charity.
