He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Ervin and Ruth Leona Patton (Warren); his siblings, Sonia Patton, Gloria Buchanan, Faith Swaim (Ronnie) and Michael E. Patton; and also Camden D. Patton.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue Patton (Sheets); his children, John Paul Patton of Nelsonville, Stephen Douglas Patton (Michelle) of Nelsonville and Melissa Lynn Woltz (Lenny) of Lancaster, Ohio; his grandchildren, Abigail Woltz and Kimber Patton; his siblings, David Patton (Marlene), Jerry Patton (Judy), Linda White (Wilbur), Penny Patton and Rebecca Kurfis (Paul); and his sister-in-law Norma Patton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
