He was predeceased by: his parent Harold "Burt" Dishong; his sister Tamela Lanning; and his son-in-law Tom Maiden. He is survived by: his parent Mary F. Hatfield Dishong of Coolville; his spouse Cheryl Lynn McQuaid Dishong; his daughters, Carol McDonald (Bob) of Hilliard and Kelly Maiden of Carbon Hill; his grandchildren, Maddie Comer (Kyle) of Cincinnati, Morgan McDonald and Garrett Maiden; and his siblings, Jerry Dishong (Melanie) of Nelsonville and Pamela Washburn (Les) of Coolville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
