It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Ruth Martin of Nelsonville, Ohio, born in Athens, Ohio, who passed away on April 9, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Bailey and Clara Cullison Bailey; and her siblings, Hubert Bailey, Eugene Bailey, Donald Bailey, Kathleen Crihfield, Ann, Juanita, Irene Buck, Geraldine Mace and Elaine Cheeseman.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Michael Martin (Nicole) of Groveport, Rhonda Gale Varner of Nelsonville and Dianna Lynn Dobbs of Nelsonville; her grandchildren, Paul (Aimee), Timothy, Tracy, Amber, Hunter and Mike; and her sisters, Opal Newlun of Georgia and Maxine Spaulding of New Albany. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
