He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Bownes and Eva Williams Bownes. He is survived by: his children, Mark Bownes (Lorri) of Haydenville, Mitch Bownes (Christina Patterson) of Nelsonville and Lanette Blair (Larry) of Nelsonville. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
