With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mark Franklin McGuire of Nelsonville, Ohio, who passed away on December 30, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin McGuire and Venus M. Thompson (Reynolds); his daughter Katrina McGuire; his stepson Sherman Perkins; his sister Sharon Kay McGuire; and his niece Misty Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Diane McGuire (Jonas); his children, Ryan McGuire (Katie) of Nelsonville and Kristina McGuire of Nelsonville; his stepdaughters, Melissa Herzog (Rick) of Buchtel and Mary Jean McPherson (Scott) of Columbus; his grandchildren, Billy, Bobby, Emma, Trevis, Aiden, Colin, Cammie, Eli and Julian; and his sister Carolyn "Suzie" Willison (Tex) of Lancaster. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Greenlawn Cemetery (15550 Twp-36, Nelsonville, OH 45764).
The family suggests donations be made in memory of Mark to Ohio Health Hospice, 3430 OhioHealth Parkway, Fl. 3, Columbus, OH 43202.
