It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Hysell of Nelsonville, Ohio, born in Athens, Ohio, who passed away on April 30, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hysell and Florence Koon; his stepfather Charlie Koon; and his son Kevin Hysell. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Hysell (Andrews); his sons, Derek Hysell (Malinda) of Georgia and Dwayne Hysell (Kelly) of Athens; his sister Judy Driggs of Cleveland; his grandchildren, Christopher Hysell (Emily) of Maryland, Jeffrey Hysell (Jen) of Maryland, Richie Hysell (Christina) of Maryland and Brant Hysell of West Virginia; and his great grandchildren, Bridget, Lillian, Tiffany and Kimberly. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
