He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence "Jack" Kenneth and Helen Aurilla Anderson Dishong; his son Dwayne Mays; and his brother George Dishong. He is survived by: his wife Kay L. Osborne Dishong; his children, Tobey Dishong (Paula), Daniel Gross (Cassie Daniels), Stacie Hunter (Justin) and Carrie Shaw; his great grandchildren, Emma Jade, Riley, Memphis and Hayden; his sister Charlene Sinkowski; his nieces, Crystal, Katie Sinkowski and Rebecca Dafler (Colin); and his sister-in-law Beth Dishong. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of James "Jimmy D." Arthur Dishong to the Nelsonville VFW Post #3467, P.O. Box 27, Nelsonville, Ohio 45764.
