It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gale Monk of Nelsonville, Ohio, born in Athens, Ohio, who passed away on October 31, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gale N. Monk and Velma Patton Monk; his wife Judith Devol Monk; his grandson Derek Linton; and his brother Donald Monk.
He is survived by: his daughters, Gretchen Diluca (Rick) of Rochester, Lori Linton (Michael) of Logan, Beth Helber (Greg) of Logan and Jessica Kunkler Shaw (Matt) of Athens; his grandchildren, Liam, Ariel, Christopher, Abigale, Emily, Aaron, Alexander, Metthew, Kyle, Dylan, Kelsey, Rachel, Mackenzie, Benjamin and Nathaniel; and his siblings, James Monk (Nancy) of Logan, Robert Monk (Rebecca) of Logan, Roger Monk (Misty) of Logan, Charlotte Myers (Jim) of Logan and Janice Fish of Napoleon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
