He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Sanborn and Lena Mae Sanborn; and his former wife Ellen "Kay" Sanborn. He is survived by: his fiancée Mary Woodrum of Nelsonville; his children, Joe Sanborn (Debbie) of Glouster and Vickie Layton of Glouster; his grandchildren, Allen and Mandi Layton; his stepgrandsons, Joseph and Jeremiah Borgen; his great grandchildren, Brandon Layton (Jamie), JayCee Layton, Lane Bond and Brantley Layton; his stepgreat-grandson Lincoln Borgen; and his great great grandchild Dani Mae Layton.
