With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna Jean Mitchell of Nelsonville, Ohio, who passed away on March 29, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Bowditch and Hazel Elizabeth Bowditch; her husband William Edward Mitchell Sr.; her daughter Margaret Ann Mitchell; her daughter-in-law Cheryl Mitchell; her siblings, Floyd Bowditch, Janet Campbell, Patty Burch and Alice VanHam; and her siblings-in-law, Gertie Bauer (Ed), Gib Mitchell (Margaret), Betty Newman (Johnny), Mary Ellen Wright (Dick), Bernice Sowers (Tom), Jack Mitchell, Wayne Mitchell and Nellie Mitchell.
She is survived by: her children, William E. "Catfish" Mitchell Jr. of Circleville, Cathy Donovan (Doug) of Naples, Sherrie Dearing (Roger) of Buchtel and Mary Mitchell of Nelsonville; her grandchildren, Billie Jo Fisher of Hamilton, Joshua William O'Donovan of Madison, Megan Bluntschly (Damond) of Columbus, Keith Alan Adams of Heath, Meriya Carpenter, Molly Beth Donovan of Plain City, Jeremy Dexter (Karrie) of Nelsonville, Jennifer Marie Duncan (Jeramy) of Glouster and Sarah Dawn Dexter (Chad) of Athens; her sister-in-law Ruth Mitchell; her close friend Karen Sinclair; her niece Robyn Bollinger; and her pet Polly. She is also survived by 27 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren.
