He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Johnson; his wife Connie Sue Johnson (Elliott); his siblings, Junior, Don, Bob, Clyde, Carl, Arthur, Jack Johnson, Marilyn Johnson and Darlene Johnson Martin; and his son-in-law Scott Young.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Johnson of Nelsonville, Karen Dinsmoor (Dan) of Athens and Denver Johnson (Ron Felton) of Weatherford, Texas; his grandchildren, Kaylyn Johnson (Josh Berry) of Nelsonville, Brea Young (Chad Alvis) of Millfield and Olivia Young; his great grandchildren, Graclyn, Graden Thomas and Marcus Alvis; his sisters, Patty Howson and Delores Storts; and his sisters-in-law, Marchetta Johnson, Nancy Johnson and Mary Johnson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
