He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sharp and Ora Belle Sharp; his wife Jean Catherine Walton Sharp; and his brothers, Jack Sharp, Earl Sharp, Lew Sharp and Charles "Hub" Sharp.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Sharp (Susan) of Salisbury, NC., Jane Cogar (William) of Richwood, WV. and Jeremy Sharp (April) of Nelsonville, OH.; his grandchildren, Kathryn Frazier (Chris) of Albuquerque, NM., Sarah Brooks (Nick) of San Antonio, TX., Jeremy "Tommy" Sharp of Nelsonville, OH., Diana Sanders of Asheville, NC. and Ami Sharp of Knoxville, TN.; his great grandchildren, Violet Frazier of Albuquerque, NM. and Bodhi Brooks of San Antonio, TX.; and his siblings, Catherine "Sis" Baechtel of Derwood, MD., Patricia "Pat" Lamoureux of Alpine, UT., Brenda "Cookie" Doss of Marlinton, WV., Louise "Kay" Burke (Sam) of Millboro, VA., Charlotte "Chot" Slagle (Kenneth) of Marlinton, WV., Craig Sharp (Betty) of Chester, VA., Donald Sharp (Mildred) of Berkley Springs, WV., Tommie Sharp (Garnet) of Marlinton, WV. and Leslie "Doug" Sharp (Jean) of Lahmansville, WV.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
