It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Maynard of Nelsonville, Ohio, born in Ethel, West Virginia, who passed away on September 28, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Bartley and Lucille Bircher Bartley; her husband Kenneth Maynard; her sister Shirlene Sturgis; and her son-in-law Rodger Gossard.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Darlene Gossard of Lima and Catherine Waxler (John) of Nelsonville; her grandchildren, Andrew Gossard (Ronda), Erin Shaffer (Mike), Douglas Gossard, Dakota Waxler (Caitlin), Cheyenne Sampson (Cody), Damian Gossard (Shannon), Khaleesi Sampson, Linc Conrad, Olivia Shaffer and Lucas Shaffer; and her great great grandchild Savanna Gossard.
