He was predeceased by: his parents, Webster Newlun and Mary Betts Newlun; his daughter Charlotte Newlun; and his siblings, Danny, Ed Newlun, Judy Weaver, Pam Lyall and Sylvia Newlun.
He is survived by: his wife Martha McClain Newlun; and his daughters, Ann Adkins (James) of Nelsonville, Lisa Martin (Greg) of Nelsonville, Laura Newlun of Jacksonville, April Bradbury (George) of Bethel and Elizabeth Fields (Jason) of Logan. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
