He was predeceased by: his parents, James Moffett and Inez Mays Moffett; his wife Gloria Louise Watkins; his great grandchild Austin Jacob Piper; and his siblings, James Moffett, Myrtle Jones and Cynthia Moffett.
He is survived by: his children, Gloria Brooks (Brian) of East Liverpool, Pamela Melott (John) of Homosassa, FL, Teresa Lester of Lisbon, Richard Moffett (Janice) of East Palestine, Roy O. Moffett, II (Martha) of East Liverpool and Shelby Moffett (Melissa) of Negley; and his sisters, Florence Matheny of Salem and Candace Clevenger (Terry) of Negley. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
