He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose Filippini and Caroline Filippini; and his siblings, Mary Sacchet, Frank Filippini and Cesare "Chiz" Filippini.
He is survived by: his wife Lynn Elliott Filippini; his sons, Joseph Filippini of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, Brian Filippini of University Heights, OH and Daniel Filippini (Christy) of West Jefferson, OH; and his nephew Rudy Sacchet.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and ask that appropriate social distancing be observed.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Negley Volunteer Fire Department or the Negley United Methodist Church.
