He is survived by: his wife Edith "Edie" Schmidt; his children, Cliff Schmidt (Julie) of Columbiana, Terri Ackerman (Doug) of Rathdrum, ID and Michelle Swagger (William) of Libby, MT; his adoptive daughter Cindy Sell of Negley; and his grandchildren, Jessica, John, Drake, Frank, Amanda, Cerria and Andrea. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
