She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Osman and Ruth Waite Fortune; her husband Donald Leroy Coburn; her daughter Rhonda Peterson; and her siblings, Audrey, Lavonne and Billy.

She is survived by: her children, Lisa Winters (Robert) of Austintown, Donald L. Coburn Jr. (Rebecca) of North Lima and Randall Coburn (Diana) of Leetonia; and her sisters, Leona and Janice. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, and twenty-seven great grandchildren.
