He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Kovalyk and Julia Kovalyk; and his wife Stella Jennie Florek Kovalyk. He is survived by: his son William Kovalyk, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Brenda Kovalyk; his grandsons, Bill Kovalyk III (Nadine) and Luke A. Kovalyk; and his great grandchildren, Logan and Carmen Kovalyk.
