He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis D. "Bub" Bailey and Francena Parks Bailey; his sons, Douglas Bailey and Charles "Chuck" Vickers Jr.; and his siblings, Melvin Bailey and Sharon Hinkle.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Marge" Davis Bailey; his children, Shawn Bailey (Katy), Greg Vickers (Jody) and Nettie Hartung (Ernie); his daughters-in-law, Terri and Emily; and his siblings-in-law, John Hinkle Sr. and Stephanie Bailey. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
