He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Engel and Alta Engel (Cross); and his wife Sharon L. Engel. He is survived by: his children, Ronald Engel (Lisa), Mark Engel, Gary Engel (Cheryl), Kevin Engel and Carrie Amstutz (Paul); his sister Edith "Naomi" Shave; his uncle Ron; and his aunt Sharon. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
