He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvle Christman and Dorothy Christman (Morris); his sisters, Joann DiNarda (Ronald), Judy Zucal and Carol Tolbert; his daughter Michele L. Wade (Sissy); his parents-in-law, John and Kathalene Crowl; and his cousin Neal Neuhart.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Christman (Crowl); his children, Joelle Francis (Glen) of Canal Fulton, Andrew Christman of Canton, Randy Christman (Denia) of Canton South, Jeff Hyde (Kelly Kail) of Canton South and Jessica Long of East Sparta; his son-in-law Chris Wade of Alliance; his grandchildren, Alec Wade, Abigail Casperd, Olivia Francis, Andrew Christman, Jennifer Christman, Van Christman, Chasey Christman, Evan Long, Ava Long, Aiden Long and Nicole Leatherberry; his great grandchildren, Landyn, Carter, Emmett, Estelle and Easton; his sisters, Sally Greene and Sue Froelich (Clark); his brothers-in-law, John and Jim Crowl; and his pet Homer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Spidell Funeral Home (209 Chestnut Ave NW, Brewster, OH 44613). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 12:45 PM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273).
