She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Martin Trushell and Anna Rosalie Grace Trushell; her husband Robert Roy DeWire; her sons, Michael Allen and Glen; her sisters, Mildred Kraus, Marie Case, Sara Case and Mary Ann Riggs; and the father of her children Linford Slutz.
She is survived by: her children, Linette J. McGowan (Larry) of Navarre, Cathy Kurucz (Dave) of Senecaville, Linford Slutz II (Susan) of Williamsburg and Mary Ann Slutz of Zanesville; her grandchildren, Stephen (Laquita), Rebekah, Rachel (Dan) and Philip (Katie); her great grandchildren, Noah, Grace, Kelsey and Gabby; her great great grandchildren, Maisey and Olivia; her siblings, Elsie Chambers of Strasburg, Sylvia Albright of Conotton, Freeda Shultz (Kenneth) of Canton, Dan Trushell (Hazel) of Bowerston and Paul Trushell (Martha) of Scio; and her brother-in-law Vic Slutz of Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Tuscarawas County Humane Society and the Zanesville American Legion Auxiliary.
