He was predeceased by: his father Richard Fankhauser; and his sister Sandra L. Wendling. He is survived by: his pet Maggie; his sister Laurie A. Longshore; his nieces and nephews, Tiffany Null, Heather Saini, Chad Wendling and Drew Longshore; and his cousins, Heidi A. Barringer and Jeff Fankhauser.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Hospital and Research Center or Stark County Humane Society.
