He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Pickens and Daisy Pickens (Bartrug); and his siblings, Harold Forester, Virginia Dillon and Gladys Garaux.
He is survived by: his wife Violet Pickens; his children, Valerie Christman (Don), Rhonda Snyder (Charlie) and Richard Pickens; his grandchildren, Michelle Meek (Aaron), Elissa Ciganik (Ryan), Olivia Snyder (Adam Widder) and Emma Snyder; and his great grandchildren, Natalie Meek and Deegan Meek.
