He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Girt and Elma Girt (Fichter). He is survived by: his wife Joan Girt (Foster); his children, Jesse Girt and Roxanne Carman; his grandchildren, Melanie Warner (Mike) and Jerry Carman; his great grandchildren, Jesse, Will, Trinity, Zac and Hailee; and his siblings, Shirley Siblia, Barbra Johnson (Gilbert) and Steven Girt (Suzette).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either, Alzheimer's Association or Aultman Hospice.
