He was predeceased by: his father Ernest Steele; his wife Sharon; and his daughter Tami Halsey. He is survived by: his son Rickey Steele; his grandchildren, Gary R. Steele, Candys Rock (Justin) and Krystal Halsey; his son-in-law Eric Halsey; and his sisters, Mary Collins and Helen Sinclair (Tom). He is also survived by six great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
