He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Byer and LaDean Fair Byer. He is survived by: his significant other Darlene Fritz Byer; and his children, Todd Byer of Navarre, Chris Byer of Navarre, Melissa Stutzman of Smithville, Jennifer Riegle of Massillon, E. Kelly Hollinger of Canal Fulton and Jill Wenger of Dalton. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
