With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Floyd Schmidt (Navarre, Ohio), born in Massillon, Ohio, who passed away on July 8, 2019 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Schmidt and Florence Schmidt (Heck); and his siblings, Francis, John, Shirley and Rita.

He is survived by: his wife Alice Schmidt (Wagner); his children, Charlene Schmidt (Ken Cantwell) of Hawaii, Diane Simonson of Navarre, Patty Hummel (Dave) of Canton, David Schmidt (Kathy) of Canton, Brian Schmidt (Linda) of Wooster and Jerry Schmidt of Navarre; and his siblings, Raymond of Massillon, Vivian Gresser of Hampden and Rose Mary Schmidt H. M.. He is also survived by six grandchildren, two step grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
