He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter F. Shetler and Lina Shetler (Forbes); his siblings, Helen and Paul; and his daughter Mona.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Shetler (Erdely); his children, Jean Schwartz (Joel) of Canton and Greg Shetler of Navarre; his grandchildren, Dr. Ryan Schwartz (Rachel) of Broadview Heights, Sarah Denzinger (Joe) of Garrettsville and Dr. Laura Schwartz of Athens; his niece Patti Bucci; and his sister-in-law Louise Domingue.
They have also suggested memorial contributions made to the American Cancer Society.
