She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Hay and Nora Margaret Hay (Leisher); her husband Tom Rasmussen; her son Larry Potts; and her sister Margie Bowles.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Taylor of Nashville, Charlene Fields of Tennessee and Terry Potts of Arizona. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren.
