He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Lighthizer and Bernice Farmer Lighthizer. He is survived by: his wife Betty Grant Lighthizer; and his children, David "Kathy" Lighthizer, Danny Lighthizer and Donna "Charles" Teetz. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren.
