He was predeceased by: his parents, Rolland Jewell and Shirley Jewell Buckley (Ross); his sister Marsha Walker; and his stepgranddaughter Alison Lee Shepherd. He is survived by: his stepfather George Buckley of Zanesville; his wife Linda Jewell; his children, Michael Chad Jewell of Columbus and Tiffany Whitten of Columbus; his stepchildren, Lisa Long (Rick) of Blue Rock, LeeAnn Moore (Tony) of Duncan Falls, David Woodward Jr. of Nashport, Jack Shepherd of Zanesville and Joey Shepherd (Lori) of Philo; and his siblings, Danny Jewell (Diane) of Zanesville, Ronnie Jewell (Debbie) of Columbus, Gloria Snack (Michael Clark) of Palm Coast, Sandy Alton of Zanesville and Nancy Smith of Newark. He is also survived by twelve step-grandchildren; eight step-great grandchildren.
