He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest Mendenhall and Thelma Mendenhall (Cox); his siblings, Robert Mendenhall (Shirley), Ralph Mendenhall (Betty Ann), Esther Andrews (Jack) and Patty (Harvey "Red" Owens); and his siblings' children, Crystal Tuel (Mark), Tim Mendenhall and Greg Andrews.
He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn Mendenhall (Gordon); his children, Hans, Tara Koett (Mathew) and Robin Mendenhall; his grandchildren, Mason and Christian Koett; his nephews, Randy Owens (Judy), Tom Lyall (Pat), Terry Lyall (Linda), Jim Early (Deb) and Thad Andrews (Karen); his close friends, Gary and Julie Ash (Leach); and also, Robin and Brenda Perrin (Jim).
