She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Beskid and Anna Beskid (Odlivak); her husband Dallas Dan Slay; and her siblings, Ann Lubinsky (Tony), Kathy Beskid, Mary Bechtel, Margaret Spillman (William), Helen Emerick (George) and Joseph Beskid (Victoria).

She is survived by: her sons, Thomas Slay (Missy) of Cincinnati, OH and Christopher Slay (Kimmarie) of Pleasantville, IA; her brother Stephen Beskid (Donna) of Byesville, OH; her siblings-in-law, David Slay of Cambridge, OH and Becky Slay (Sarchet) of Stow, OH; her grandchildren, Shane Slay (Lisa) of Morrow, OH, Amy Goodlick (Bill) of Lebanon, OH, Amanda Soumare (Sory) of Des Moines, IA and Nate Slay of Des Moines, IA; her stepgranddaughters, Ashlee Heine (Shawn) of Loveland, OH and Emily Goodlick of Florence, KY; and her great grandchildren, Blake Slay, Lucas Goodlick, Eli Goodlick and Ibrahim Soumore. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
