She was predeceased by: her parents, William Russell and Margaret Russell (Bradley); her husband Alan Thiel; her siblings, Sarah Walls and Roger Russell; and her friend Donald Wilson.

She is survived by: her siblings, David Russell (Joyce) and Ruth Spurgeon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of Christ.
