He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Gilliland and Leah Gilliland; and his siblings, Frank, Richard, James, Opal and Marian.

He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Taylor and Alisa Mullholand. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
