He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sonnenberg and Sophia Sonnenberg (Lange); his wife Eloise Glanz; and his siblings, Victor, Hugo Sonnenberg, Hulda Hahn and Regina Germann.

He is survived by: his daughter Tina Browning (Richard); his grandsons, Gabriel and Lukas Browning; his brother Gilbert Sonnenberg; and his friend Margaret Meyer.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon.
