It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Freytag of Napoleon, Ohio, who passed away on January 10, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Freytag and Valeta Freytag (Rohrs); his wife Norma Arlene Freytag; his brother Ralferd Freytag; and his sister-in-law Betty Freytag.
He is survived by: his former wife Norma "Arlene" Riefers; his children, Daniel Freytag, James Freytag (Jill) and Sonia Lowe (Allen); his grandchildren, Anna Fowler (Denver), Elly Knapper (Mick), Peter Freytag (Amy), Sara Casto (Josh) and Jeffrey Lowe; his great grandchildren, Beckett, Teagan Fowler, Natalie and Owen Freytag; his siblings, Mary Alice Witte (Louis), Ted Freytag and Fritz Freytag (Marilyn); and his sister-in-law Harriet Freytag.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, St. Paul Lutheran Schools, or the Lutheran Hour Ministry.
