He is survived by: his parents, Melvin Rayoum Jr. and Amanda Curtis; his siblings, Melvin III, Brandon (Nykoma), Christian, Thomas, Kayla and Taylor; his grandparents, Jo, Pat Ramlow, Steve Curtis, Melvin Rayoum Sr. and Sheila Rayoum; his nephews, Melvin IV, Brodyn, Braydon, Xander and Klaus; and his niece Nevaeh. He is also survived by many cousins, aunts and uncles.

Memorials in Owens memory may be considered to the American Cancer Society.
