He is survived by: his wife Norma Alexander; his children, Neil Giffey and Nancy Tonjes (Dennis); his grandchildren, Eric Giffey (Audrey), Dale Giffey (Jessica), Glen Giffey, Lindsay Ornelas (Gabe) and Emily Gasche; his stepgrandson Cabe Schlosser (Kaleena); and his great grandchild Luke Giffey.
